Scope
This policy describes how Ethan Sunray LLC handles information relating to the Removebg website at https://removebg.one and its browser-local background removal tool.
Images Stay on Your Device
When you use the local background-removal tool, the image you select, the generated mask, and the result remain in your browser and on your device. We do not upload, receive, view, store, host, or distribute those image files or their content.
Your browser downloads fixed model files and may cache them in browser storage. This model download does not send your image to us. You can clear cached model files and other local site data through your browser settings.
On-Device Safety Checks
The required content safety pre-check runs on your device using the local safety model. Your image and the safety model's prediction are used only to decide whether the image can enter the editor. They are not sent to us.
Information We Retain
We retain limited information needed to operate and secure the website, understand website usage, and respond when you contact us. This may include support correspondence and the contact details you provide, along with technical and usage data such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited, timestamps, and network or security logs.
Analytics and Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and performance. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process technical and usage data under its own privacy policy. You can limit analytics through your browser's privacy controls or extensions.
Service Providers and Processing
We use Cloudflare for website infrastructure and model-file delivery, and Google Analytics for website analytics. These providers may process technical and usage information as needed to provide their services to us. We do not use them to process images through the local tool.
Purposes and Retention
We use retained information to operate and secure the website, respond to requests, understand website usage, and comply with legal and dispute-handling obligations. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, unless a longer period is required by law. We do not sell personal information.
International Processing
Ethan Sunray LLC and its service providers may process retained website and support data in countries other than your own. User images, safety-check results, and local processing results are not transferred to our systems. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of retained data.
Your Requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we retain.
